Finally sharing all the pictures from a wonderful mother/daughter shopping trip in my beloved River City, culminating in a delicious lunch at Longtime Yum Cha at Queens Plaza with my younger brother. In these oufit snaps - taken in the Wintergarden - I'm wearing a stunning floral chiffon maxi dress with v-neckline & ruched waist from celebrated Australian label Aje with a black elastane camisole from Witchery underneath for modesty purposes, a pair of black vegan leather dual buckle heels from Kitten D'Amour for a modicum of height & a black vinyl shoulder bag from Sussan to carry all the essentials including a facemask & hand sanitizer as needed. When it came to jewellery, I donned a funky Swatch x Modigliani watch depicting artist Amadeo Modigliani's "Portrait of Dedie" (1918), a solid silver vintage bangle from 20th Century Antiques & Collectibles (originally of Coolangatta, now Tweed Heads) that my younger brother gave me as a birthday gift one year & finally, a chunky silver, resin & paper bangle with mirror images of Modigliani's "Reclining Nude on a White Cushion" 1917 that I picked up from the gift shop at the Musee de l'Orangerie on a trip to Paris a few years ago to complete the look.

Are you sure that we are awake? It seems to me that yet we sleep, we dream...

All dressed up & ready to attend a transcendent performance of Shakespeare's famed "A Midsummer Night's Dream" (1595) with a dear friend. I'm wearing a whimsical navy, blush & gold floral embroidered mesh midi dress with fluted sleeves & satin lining from celebrated Australian designer Anthea Crawford, styled up with a hand-dyed, handwoven silk & felt wrap that I discovered at a little stall at the Ipswich Antique Centre, a pair of blush suede slingbacks with buckle at the ankle & stacked wooden heels from Forever New & a boxy blush vinyl handbag from Olga Berg at Myer to carry all the essentials. Jewellery was kept minimal yet statement-making with a chunky wave-shaped art deco hinged bangle from the delightful Precious Stones Jewellers in Uptown Brisbane (formerly the Myer Centre) & a silver, gold & blush beaded wrap bangle from Thousand Island Dressing at Paddington for that touch of daytime sparkle & shine.

Finally sharing all the bright & beautiful pictures of an outfit that I styled up to attend a recent 1920-themed "Jazz Age" event in my beloved River City. I'm wearing an utterly divine rainbow printed organza pleat-front maxi dress with sweet inset sleeves from cult Australian designer label Aje with black matte leather pointy-toed booties from Wittner for a modicum of height & a matching black vinyl shoulder bag from Sussan to carry all the essentials including the omnipresent hand sanitizer & face mask. When it came to jewellery, I wore some favourites - a funky resin & rubber Swatch watch depicting Italian-born, French-residing artist Amadeo Modigliani's "Portrait of Dedie" (1918) that was given to me for my birthday this year by some dear friends who now reside overseas, a heavy vintage silver bangle from 20th Century Antiques & Collectibles (formerly of Coolangatta, now of Tweed Heads) that was gifted by my younger brother & finally, a chunky silver, resin & paper bangle with mirror images of Modigliani's "Reclining Nude on a White Cushion" (1917) that I picked up at the Musee de l'Orangerie Gift Shop on a trip to Paris a few years ago.
