After a rather drawn-out, unscheduled blog-posting absence, I'm back with one of my favourite looks from the recent balmy early Summer days - simple to throw on at a moment's notice & comprising of only 3 basic pieces + jewellery!
The vibrant royal blue cotton Mexican shift dress from Little Tienda is covered in divine floral hand-embroidery, meaning that no further embellishment was needed in the form of a vest, belt or brooch & the rainbow of colours used meant that when it came to accessories, all I needed to do was pick out a few of the featured hues - lemon yellow, watermelon, peachy-flesh-tone - & choose accordingly. Cue these funky leather gladiator sandals from Novo (fast becoming a Summertime staple) & this colour-blocked vinyl handbag from Anthea Crawford to inject a little sophistication into an otherwise casual vibe...
When it came to jewellery, simple & neutral won the day in the form of these chunky beaded bracelets - 2 with charms that I picked up from the Coolangatta Markets in September last year from a lovely woman called Emma who creates them all personally & a single graduated option on the other wrist from Thousand Island Dressing at Paddington.
It goes without saying that I have a lot of posts to catch up on, but bear with me & keeping checking for everything that's been missed!
