If you read this blog regularly, you'll probably already know how much I adore folk music & so-called "protest" songs from the late 1960s & 1970s, so the opportunity to attend an intimate VIP performance featuring one of my best-loved folk-singing heroes was a chance to wear some of my newest acquisitions as well as treasured old favourites... I'm posing beside our new wooden back deck in a gorgeous black floral guipure lace "wiggle" dress with cherry blossom embroidery, navy satin lining & a fluted hemline from Anthea Crawford, funky white leather heeled slingbacks with shiny patent leather pointy toes & striped pink & black grosgrain ribbon straps from Aussie footwear stalwart Wittner, boxy black "hard case" vinyl handbag with white piping & bow detail from "girly" label Review, silver deco-style hinged bangle from Precious Stones Jewellers (a well loved & already well-worn present from Christmas 2018) & amazing silver & dyed-pink heather hinged bangle from Heathergems that I purchased while on holidays in Pitlochry, Scotland a few years ago.
