For the second year in a row, the pandemic changed our usual Easter celebrations, swapping large gatherings & days out with low-key family brunches, a "bunny trail" gift drop-off & a few jaunts to out-of-the-way places without large crowds. Over the next two posts, I'll be sharing snippets of what we did & of course, what I wore over the four days of the long weekend.

To partake in Good Friday's traditional Scottish breakfast with my parents & younger brother & sister-in-law, I donned a gorgeous white floral textured jacquard smock dress with puff sleeves & pouch pockets from Asos' premium diffusion line, Asos Edition, generously gifted by some dear friends & styled up with a pair of contrasting black vegan leather round-toe heels with buttons & bows from vintage-inspired label Kitten D'Amour, a black woven straw handbag from Target with monochrome gingham seersucker scarf (also Kitten) tied around the handle & a chunky silver hinged bangle from Wallace Bishop on my right wrist for that touch of daytime shine. For that final flourish, a silver & white faux pearl bunny ear headpiece from Lovisa was placed atop my brunette bob in deference to the season.

For an Easter Saturday spent delivering gifts to family & friends (including the pictured Bunny Baskets, brimming with festive goodies for a certain two rambunctious munchkins who often make an appearance on this blog...) I wore a purple & blue floral crepe midi dress with exaggerated puff sleeves from Vero Moda via Asos, a pair of funky purple vegan leather slingback heels from celebrated hipster label Gorman, a circular natural woven straw crossbody bag from Etsy to carry all the essentials while keeping my hands free & a matching vintage wooden bead & carved African animal necklace & bangle stack from the delightful Deborah's sublime Beautiful Pangea boutique... also on Etsy. Finally, a gold, felt & faux floral bunny ears headband from Aussie designer Nash & Willow as perched on my head to complete the look while giving a wink to the White Rabbit himself.
