As discussed in yesterday's post, this year's Easter Long Weekend celebrations were a little more low-key than usual... but that didn't stop me from dressing up to mark the occasion, particularly on Easter Sunday (also known as Resurrection Sunday) when I donned a stunning ice blue & silver floral woven jacquard midi dress with exaggerated puff sleeves & a ruffled hemline from premium diffusion line Asos Edition, generously gifted to me by some dear friends who I haven't had the opportunity to see in person for quite some time due to the pandemic. For the occasion - a day devoted to the miracle of Christ's Resurrection for those of the Christian faith & for children, the aftermath of a visit from the Easter Bunny - I styled it up with a pair of blue vegan leather deco heels from Kitten D'Amour for added height, a handmade pastel crochet bobble handbag (also a thoughtful gift) to carry all the essentials like Cadbury chocolate eggs, a funky resin Bunny brooch from Erstwilder & pastel fuzzy bunny ear headpiece from Lovisa to complete the look.

For a casual Easter Monday spent enjoying the public holiday in the sunshine, I wore a funky monochrome striped & purple spotted organic cotton reversible midi dress with tie detailing at the waist from celebrated Aussie designer Gorman, a pair of mauve vegan leather deco heels from Kitten D'Amour (once again for height & comfort), a natural woven straw handbag from my local H&M store to carry all the essentials including hand sanitizer, face mask, leftover chocolate eggs, an armful of stunning, handpainted art nouvea inspired wood bangles that were, once again, gifted to me by thoughtful friends & finally, a white faux fur bunny ears headband from Target to complete the look.
