My love of "cutesy" prints & kitschy silhouettes has reached an all-time high in recent months, particularly when I saw this gorgeous lemon-printed cotton fit-to-flare dress with cap sleeves from British label Collectif (found at the delightful That Shop in Carindale) on a monochrome spotted background to really make the yellow & green lemons & leaves really pop! The perfect dress to truly "sum up" the 2020/2021 Covid 19 experience & bring to life the saying," When life gives you lemons... make lemonade!" I'm trying, honestly... When it comes to the dress, I've styled it up for maximum 1950s vibes by cinching it in with a black floral stretch lace & velvet bow corset belt with boning & vibrant lipstick red vegan leather deco heels from Kitten D'Amour & a yellow satin headband with rosettes that a dear friend gifted me for Christmas last year.
