Feeling like I've just stepped out of a time machine in this gorgeous little polka dotted lurex mini dress with black organza back bow from whimsical British label Sister Jane; ideal for an event in the city celebrating all things "Swinging Sixties" fashion including esteemed "youthquake" designer Mary Quant. Truth be told, I'm still a little bit disappointed that the Quant exhibit won't be coming to Brisbane despite visiting Melbourne, but I suppose this was the next best thing... I've styled it up with a pair of black leather lace-up heels from Jo Mercer for added height, a boxy black vinyl handbag with chrome hardware from French Connection to carry all the essentials (hand sanitizer, mask etc), a chunky silver hinged bangle from Wallace Bishop & a pink silk rose corsage from Kitten D'Amour for that sweet finishing touch.

Scroll down to see more, including the back...
