While vibrant colour & bold patterns will always have my heart, I'm loving the more muted, neutral shades of beige, camel & cream for the late summer/early autumnal weather we've been enjoying in Queensland lately. Case in point: this darling camel-hued cotton poplin babydoll mini dress with yoked neckline, puff sleeves & ruffled hemline from Lee Mathews, the celebrated Aussie design studio known for a striking minimalist aesthetic & sustainable fabric choices. I've styled it up for a day out in the River City waxing lyrical on all things "environmentally-friendly fashion" with a pair of black vegan leather heels with white bib detailing from Kitten D'Amour, a boxy black vinyl handbag with striped grosgrain ribbon strap from French Connection to carry all the essentials & a funky, handmade paisley printed cotton mask that my lovely neighbour made for me during the height of the pandemic last year.
