Where does the time go?!
Spent a wonderful Sunday morning celebrating all things Sweet Baby James as he turned two years old. Yep, two years old already! To mark such a special occasion, I needed something smart-casual with a bit of oomph... Enter this stunning Vuios bias-cut black mesh midi dress with vibrant printed neoprene strips to create both shape & a sense of movement; complete with matching cropped bolero from Esteems Boutique at The Strand Shopping Centre, Coolangatta, shown in detail below:
When it came to footwear, these flesh-tone, laser-cut leather sandals with stacked heels & lace-up details from Novo added a sense of lightness, particularly when mixed with a Madagascan straw shoulder bag that I picked up this time last year from a little market stall on the coast... given further flair with the addition of this amazing "Carmen Miranda" resin brooch from Deer Arrow via That Shop in Coolangatta.
Finally, an armful of bright blue beaded bracelets with silver & shell charms from Eb & Ive completed the look, creating cohesion by picking up on the touches of blue in the neoprene print of the dress.
