Finally sharing all of the blissful photographs from a day spent exploring Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk before heading further up the mountain to the boutique-lined Gallery Walk for a cheeky spot of shopping followed by a delicious hot lunch at our perennial favourite, the Mount Tamborine Vineyard & Winery.

For the occasion, I took the opportunity to "rug up" against the chilly temperatures & "layered up" in some of my sartorial treasures - a stunning, tulip-embroidered mesh shift dress with satin lining, fluted hemline & lace trim from Aussie designer Anthea Crawford (worn in the summertime in this previous post), black mesh longline cardigan from Taking Shape, shiny black polyblend collarless anorak with silver zippers from Mano, shiny black patent leather lace-up ankle boots from Wittner, 40 denier nylon tights from Razzamatazz to keep my legs feeling toasty-warm & a black vinyl crossbody bag with silver hardware from Urban Originals that I picked up from local TK Maxx store for under $30 to hold all the essentials while keeping my hands free. When it came to accessories, I kept it simple with a singular piece of jewellery in the form of a silver, art-deco-inspired hinged bangle from Precious Stones Jewellers & as a final flourish, added a chunky, knitted wool beanie in a soft shade of mauve with grey faux fur pompom from Forever New to evoke those early 1990s manic-pixie-dreamgirl vibes.

Scroll down to see how it all unfolded...

Officially opened in 2009 & currently celebrating 10 years of ownership by the same visionary husband & wife team, Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk is a unique eco-adventure nestled among 30 magical acres of rainforest & crystal-clear rock pools at Queensland's Cedar Creek with an admission price of $19.50 per adult. A thrilling way to explore the flora & fauna of Mount Tamborine, the 1.5km walk takes approximately 45 minutes (at a leisurely pace) & is a glorious combination of 300 metres of high-tech steel bridges through the highest points of the upper canopy, forest floor trails & a 40 metre cantilever bridge soaring a breathtaking 30 metres above the rainforest & creek below.
