On my way to an event celebrating all things French Provincial Art wearing a gorgeous ensemble made up of pieces predominantly from one of Kitten D'Amour's newest collections, "Nine to Five." The absolutely stunning black cotton fit-to-flare dress with spotted mesh neckline dotted with pink floral embroidery & finished with pink grosgrain ribbon bow is cinched in at the waist with a pink velvet & silk bow belt (slightly altered by me) & then the entire look is further enhanced by the divinely soft black knitted cardigan with matching embroidery & ruffled cuffs & hem to create a cohesive, retro-inspired outfit. When it came to accessories, the notoriously unpredictable Queensland weather meant warmer temperatures allowed for bare legs & a pair of chunky black leather ankle booties with laces from Jo Mercer to elongate my frame, I carried a kitschy vegan leather handbag in shades of off-white, black & pink depicting "The Biscuit Shop" from Vendula London to add interest & finally, donned a pair of amazing faux tortoiseshell "Cat's Eye" sunglasses (almost Kitten D'Amour) to just take the whole thing to the next level & make it memorable. Scroll down to see more...

Keep scrolling for a peek at the ensemble from the back...
