Finally sharing all thewonderful pictures from my recent 40th birthday festivities! It was certainly a celebration filled with the love & best wishes of family & friends & I'm truly blessed & grateful to have reached this milestone. On the actual day of my birthday, we had a quiet celebration at home, watching some of my favourite movies, listening to my favourite songs & enjoying a leisurely lunch together in the balmy weather under the pergola surrounded by wooden candlesticks & flowers from our own garden... followed by chocolate cupcakes with pink condensed milk icing & brightly coloured birthday candles, pretty pink flummery in oversized martini glasses & beautifully wrapped presents!
For the occasion, I wore a beautiful pink floral jacquard midi dress with exaggerated puff sleeves & 60s style belt from one of my all-time favourite designers, Anthea Crawford, styled up with a pair of silver leather slingback sandals with square gold buckles & stacked wooden heels from Florsheim & a chunky gold & resin "Cinderella" hinged bangle from Disney Couture for that touch of whimsy.
