Finally sharing all the gorgeous pictures from birthday celebrations for my lovely mother! The actual day itself was (unfortunately) a work day, so the festivities were low-key with a roast dinner at home but the next weekend, we all went out to lunch at Kathmandu Newa Chhen in Paddington to mark the occasion & those happy snaps are further down the page.

On the hot & humid Tuesday, I wore a funky black & neon floral stretch bengaline dress with sweet cap sleeves, square neckline & tie belt from local label Sacha Drake, flesh tone leather lace-up heeled sandals from Novo, kitchy "Tiki Bar" vegan leather shoulder bag from Vendula London (gifted to me by some dear friends) & a litany of bangles on each arm - the thick, twisted brass antique number from The Way We Wore travelling vintage fashion expo, the thin brass number from my local Tree of Life store, along with the coloured thread bangles in a rainbow of hues that I've had for at least ten years.

For the weekend merrymaking at our new favourite Nepalese restaurant, I wore a stunning lipstick pink crepe wiggle dress with cold shoulder detailing from Anthea Crawford, flesh tone leather lace-up sandals from Novo, kitschy vegan leather "Tiki Bar" shoulder bag from Vendula London & the same jewellery as the previous birthday celebration... which just goes to show that there are many ways to wear the same accessories!

Keep scrolling to see how it all unfolded...
