HAPPY NEW YEAR, FAITHFUL READERS!

Sharing some pictures of the outfit I was rocking for New Year's Eve last night - a funky, horizontal striped dress (gifted by a dear friend) made from mesh & "foil" fabric to give subtle shine while walking, dancing or twirling; a pair of pattern-mixed, monochrome spotted heels from Novo with padded ankle "strap" detail & lace-up front & a semi-circular patent clutch from Diana Ferrari with large circular silver magnetic clasp.

When it came to jewellery, less was definitely more as I chose some large-scale pieces for impact - a vintage black wooden bangle covered in mirrored beads from India & a chunky, Art Deco style cocktail ring from Adorne covered in a mish-mash of different beads & semi-precious stones that I picked up at the half-yearly sale.
