Finally posting all the pictures of a blissful Sunday morning spent in beautiful Sandgate, a coastal suburb of Brisbane along the bayside stretch that includes Shorncliffe & Brighton. After brunching at Cafe on the Park - right at the very top of the hill overlooking the foreshore - & pretty much inhaling the BEST chai latte that I have ever tasted (in what was pretty much the biggest mug I have ever seen, come to think of it) we walked through the park & down to the beach, past the stunning, well-loved period homes & onto the historical pier before heading into town to check out some of the kitschy little boutiques.
Scroll down to see how it all unfolded & for details on my bohemian ensemble...

Posing on the pier in a gorgeous indigo denim shift dress with white asymmetrical embroidery & heavy-duty scuba back zipper from Aussie fashion stalwart Cue, "Tree of Life" printed linen zip-fronted jacket from Be Louise (found at a little boutique in The Strand, Coolangatta), sport-luxe sleek black joggers from Puma, black vinyl cross-body bag from Urban Originals to keep my hands free while exploring (pictured previously) & a chunky silver & onyx cocktail ring from Georgini for a little daytime sparkle.
And the clouds parted...
