Good Friday was, as always, all about sharing the traditional Scottish breakfast of salmon mornay with hot crossed buns (which tastes a great deal better than it looks) with family & dear friends. For the occasion, I wore a gorgeous monochrome ensemble comprising of a embroidered silk smock with "flippy" skirt comprised of multiple heavy godets for shape from Australian label Mossman, comfortable yet stylish black leather pointy-toed mules with sumptuous silver embellishment from Witchery & matching silver & onyx charm bracelet & ring from Pandora.

Easter Sunday always lends itself to "Springtime" dressing despite the fact that it's Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere.... it must be something to do with the spirit of rebirth & renewal that Eastertide brings. This beautiful, floral pleated silk playsuit with ruffles from "girly" Australian designer Alannah Hill was the perfect choice, particularly when mixed with a pair of soft blush suede heeled booties & delicate gold bangle stack from Forever New. White, faux fur bunny ears from Big W added that kitschy finishing touch to really complete the entire look.

Easter Monday was a day best spent with friends, heading out to the shopping centre for a delicious brunch at local cafe Ivy & Lark. As many readers of this blog would already be aware, I can't resist a cutesy print & this heart-printed cotton fit-to-flare dress from Review really fitted the bill, especially after I added a retro-style cinch belt from That Shop in Coolangatta in a vibrant shade of fire engine red & a chunky silver hinged bangle from Wallace Bishop for that touch of daytime shine. Black accessories allowed the pattern to really shine - a pair of matte black leather peeptoe heels from Wittner with a nylon & textured vinyl crossbody bag from Nautica, purchased from my local TK Maxx for under $30, which was an absolute bargain!
