These are pictures of a certain blogger in her natural habit... outside an antique store, waiting to go inside & rummage around to find lost or forgotten treasures. The store in question - Commercial Road Antiques in Teneriffe - is one of my all-time favourites, particularly when a trip is followed up with a trip to Brio Breakfast Cafe... where you can can catch a glimpse of the Brisbane River while enjoying your all-day breakfast (in my case, a large portobello mushroom on rye bread with pesto, tomatoes, poached eggs & hash browns on the side) & celebrated "Bananarama" banana & peanut butter smoothie! I'm wearing a gorgeous white lace, retro-style mini dress from Aussie label Elliatt (found at my local Myer store), a pair of beige leather heeled sandals with silver studs from Wittner to elongate my legs & a matching beige vinyl handbag from Strandbags to carry all the essentials. As far as jewellery is concerned, I really "pushed the boat out," so they say: a turkish silver bracelet from a little boutique in Maleny, chunky silver & shell beaded bracelet from Du Monde at Paddington & a statement-making vintage buffalo horn cuff from the aforementioned antique store of my dreams.
