Everyone always posts that humorously inspirational quote about Cinderella & how "one shoe has the power to change your life" & truth be told, I never really gave it much thought. Until it came to putting this outfit together. I needed a way to really change the entire vibe of the dress & accessories for an afternoon at the Cabaret after a morning spent traipsing in & out of museums & art galleries at Southbank's Cultural Precinct... & these absolutely DIVINE sky-high black patent leather stiletto heels from Kitten D'Amour were the hero the day, morphing the look into something that was just, well, ooh la la! The touch of patent to match the Vera May handbag really helped the china blue embroidery on the Anthea Crawford dress to absolutely sing & even made the vintage 1940s silver hinged fleur-de-lis bangle seem extra shiny. Now that's what I call a powerful fashion win!

And a closer look...
