Ventured to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary again yesterday; this time with my best friend Belinda & her 5 year old son, who only live a few minutes away but had never been.
As before, a quality jersey dress in a busy, all-over print was the way to go, providing me with enough stretch to be comfortable when partaking in various activities whilst hiding a multitude of kid-related stains such as dirt, chocolate fingerprints, sticky spilled soft drink, dripping tomato sauce and gooey kangaroo spit... hand-feeding those hungry, hopping hoards can be a messy business!
It was a day of fun in the brilliant winter sunshine,"book-ended" (as Jeremy is wont to say) by wild lorikeet feeding at 9:45am and 4pm. Even though these birds are often seen in suburbia, there is always something new to learn. I mean, who knew they liked to take a dip on a cold winter morning?
