Getting into the spirit for a friend's State of Origin party last night. 

Unfortunately, it was already clear that Queensland wouldn't be the 2014 series winner but at least the Might Maroons stopped it from being a New South Wales white-wash with an impressive 32-8 third game victory. 

A night as freezing as this one called for one thing - a faux fur vest - & I was happy to oblige, mixing this ombre option from Grab with the relaxed silhouette of my crimson crepe shift dress & ever-present leather jacket. 

The NRL players might have finished the night dejected by their failure to achieve a record 9 series wins in a row but at least one Queenslander chalked up a win... at least in the fashion stakes...
