I love the juxtaposition of bold colours & patterns on a rainy day where the sky is bleached of its brilliant blue hue & instead remains a dull, misty grey. This outfit is a riot of prints & textures, starting with the amazing chevron jersey dress with pleated waist detail from Anthea Crawford. The clever pattern placement creates the illusion of contouring around the body, as shown below:

The square neckline is the ideal "frame" for a statement necklace that picks up on a variety of colours inherent in the print: in this case, 5 resin flowers of differing sizes held together by a thin silver chain. Remaining jewellery was kept simple - silver cuff, hinged bangle & molded ring - merely adding shine to the overall look.

Mismatched bag & heels - peach patent peeptoe platforms with green leather & lace handbag topped off with a bow - finished the eclectic & visually arresting look. You can see the bag in detail in the pictures below:

"...yesterday and days before, sun is cold and rain is hard - I know, been that way for all my time. Til forever on it goes, through the circle fast and slow, I know, it can't stop..."
