Rather than a "Red Letter Day," yesterday was an "Orange Leather Day," as this funky Zaria laser-cut leather handbag with leopard print satin drawstring insert added some edge to the mirrored tropical print front & back panels of this Anthea Crawford "scuba" dress. Although I am clearly the furtherest thing from the stereotypical blond Aussie surfer chick with a tan, I DO love the material used to make their wetsuits, as they have amazing "shaping" qualities when worn on dry land! The black neoprene holds everything in & gives a clean line, while the aforementioned printed panels trick the eye into thinking that the wearer is a longer, leaner version of themselves - which is what I would call a fashion win...

To further capitalise on this little bit of figure-fixing "magic," sky-high black patent peeptoe sandals with slimming t-bar strap were chosen, making my legs look a mile long despite the fact that I'm only 5 feet tall.

When it came to jewellery, funky pieces in black & orange (with gold accents) created cohesion when stacked on the same arm - a shiny black resin hinged bangle with gold motif & a pair of matte leather buckled bracelets with gold studs.
