Visually transporting myself to the "bleak midwinter" they endure in some countries after a slew of warm, sunny days here in Queensland. I'm wearing a gorgeous oriental-inspired floral jacquard midi dress with 3 dimensional gold flower embellishment from celebrated Aussie designer Trelise Cooper, shiny black patent ankle boots with pointy-toes (all the better to elongate the legs) from Wittner, 40 denier nylon tights from Razzamatazz & matte leather handbag from eclectic emporium Pigeonhole in the Wintergarden. When it came to jewellery, I kept it simple but statement-making with these matching pieces from Dinosaur Designs - a chunky malachite resin bangle with gold flecks & a chunky cocktail ring.
