When the sun is shining brightly, there's no nicer place to explore in Brisbane than the neighbourhood of Teneriffe with its gentrified historical buildings, antique stores & funky boutiques, walks along the river replete with public artworks including the statue of Gloria the Ewe where the old Woolstore used to be & quirky cafes serving mouth-watering smoothies & delicious breakfast-inspired meals all day long.

I'm strolling along on my way to a late lunch at Brio Breakfast Cafe with my father, wearing a gorgeous floral print jacquard fit-to-flare dress with faux midriff bodice from girly Aussie label Review, dove-grey silk anorak with chunky silver zippers from Marilyn Seyb via Kova Lifestyle in Fortitude Valley, funky silver suede pointy-toed ankle boots from 2 Baia Vista that I found in the recent Zomp Shoez sale & a black leather shoulder bag from Pigeonhole to carry all my essentials. Seriously, one of the best handbags that I have ever owned with a negligible cost-per-wear. Jewellery was simple yet effective - a matching silver & onyx charm bangle & ring from Pandora.
