Well, this maxi-dress-come-kaftan is one of the awesome vintage finds I picked up at the Vintage Hippy stall on the day! I love the fact that the floral print runs in a vertical line, elongating my petite 5 foot frame, as well as the muted tones (yes, even the brown) that make it more versatile - that groovy, flower-power look without the "kapow" colours that can lead to a few bewildered stares from time to time... Not that it bothers me, I adore bright & bold, it's just nice to change it up sometimes.

Neutral accessories were the go with this ensemble - a pair of bone patent peeptoe platforms with a slightly lower heel for comfort, a boxy bone vinyl handbag with gold accents & a few chunky pieces of jewellery for the wrists - a gold hinged bangle with vertical lines to match the dress' print, a peachy/orange toned bangle with gold & peach resin beads & a gold, peach & pearl beaded wrap around bracelet. Just the thing for low-key vintage daytime glam.
