Last night, I wore this stunning citrine necklace with an emerald green, Grecian-style draped maxi dress by Jane Ramsay & loved it, but I wondered how versatile it would be with other, more structured options in my wardrobe... Cue what can only be described as a tornado of clothing strewn around the dressing room & quite a few possible options. This stunning, Anthea Crawford dress in a soft crepe was one of my favourites, the colours of the brass & citrine really playing off against the vibrancy of the lipstick-red hue & working well with the high neckline.

Black accessories "anchored" the look - a pair of classic, black patent platforms with enclosed toe & funky vintage "carved nut" handbag with 1970s padded leather clasp - & much like the aforementioned outfit from last night, brass bangles rounded out the jewellery.
