Well, Eastertide has come & gone & things are getting back to normal around here - well, as normal as holidays for most of the members of the household can be, anyway. On today's agenda: chatting to loved ones over a nice cup of tea before heading out to run some errands wearing a vintage Rose Beauty cotton maxi dress in a funky mix of purple floral prints, with shirred neckline detail & tassel!

Such a bright & funky vintage print requires white accessories for lightness & this slouchy leather shoulder bag from LouenHide, mixed with a pair of white leather wedges with silver patent front straps from Soft Soul, achieves that relaxed, bohemian-style vibe that this dress would have enjoyed the first time around! When it came to jewellery, silver was the order of the day, with a thin, vintage silver bangle on one wrist & a chunky, rectangular cuff inlaid with a selection of agate stones on the other. Both stunning pieces were given to me as part of an early birthday present from a dear friend who is currently residing in India. Below is a close-up of each of the different stones set into the cuff's surface - talk about a riot of vivid colour & texture!
