Finally sharing all the beautiful pictures from a day in my happy place, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, with my parents, wandering around taking pictures of the myriad of native & farm animals, cuddling koalas, feeding kangaroos, catching the end of the sheep dog show & partaking in both some morning tea & lunch amongst the wildlife... with one cheeky little miner bird even trying to steal some of it away!

Avid readers of this blog will already know that the Sanctuary is my happy place & I dressed accordingly in this funky, somewhat irreverent, monochrome ensemble - a white cotton smock covered in black, handpainted scribblings abourt the phases of the moon by La Kou (gifted by some dear friends) with a black elastane slip underneath from Taking Shape for modesty purposes, black nylon anorak with cocoon hemline & contrast stitching (also) from Taking Shape that was the ideal weight for the Queensland wintertime, chunky black leather biker boots with white "graffiti" embroidery from Wittner, black nylon 40 denier tights from Razzamatazz, black nylon & vinyl crossbody bag with silver hardware from Nautica to hold all the essentials while keeping my hands free for exploration & finally, a single, shiny silver hinged bangle from Wallace Bishop.

Scroll down to see how it all unfolded...
