Enjoying cooler temperatures & overcast skies while looking back on pictures from our recent South East Queensland heatwave, where I met up with a friend for an iced coffee & spot of shopping at the little boutiques in Ipswich's Top of Town precinct wearing a gorgeous & weather appropriate (read: soft, breathable & floaty) green paisley printed linen midi dress with asymmetrical tie strap neckline (extra strap added by me) & self-tie belt from celebrated Australian label Country Road. I've styled it up with a pair of black leather slingback sandals from Wittner for a modicum of height owing to the length of the dress hem (must be about 7 or 8 years old by now & still going strong, which just goes to show that most of the time, buying quality pieces is a sound investment), a black vinyl shoulder bag from Sussan to carry all the essentials including my facemask & hand sanitizer, a stack of vintage Mexican silver bangles that some dear friends gave me on one arm & a vintage silver bangle from 20th Century Antiques & Collectibles (late of Coolangatta) on the other to complete the look.
