Finally sharing pictures from a wonderful night out celebrating my father's 60th birthday with dinner at one of our all-time favourite boutique restaurants, Creole Soul Kitchen, where the fare is so mouthwatering that I am actually inadvertently drooling as I type this. Seriously, it's that good... as you'll see when you scroll down a little later.

But I digress. For the occasion, I decided to wear "an oldie but a goodie" in the form of this stunning blue floral jacquard empire-line dress with origami-folded skirt from Montique, mixing it with shiny metallic gold leather pointy-toed heels with buckles from Wittner, textured gold vinyl shoulder bag with chunky gold chain strap from Nine West & a moulded black resin hinged bangle with gold & black faceted beading details from boho Australian designer Samantha Wills to complete the look.

Now's the time to scroll down & take a peek at how the evening unfolded...

Family Photographs to mark the occasion...

And a cheeky look at the "Man of the Hour" opening his presents...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAYNE!
You are the best father that anyone could ever ask for & an inspirational person.
Wishing you a year ahead full of all the wonderful things that you so richly deserve.
Love you always.

A group selfie with some dear ones on a recent Girls' Night Out, wearing the same spotted pique dress from Anthea Crawford as in my previous post.

How much do we look like a 1970s record cover?!?

So excited to be sharing all the pictures of an outfit I styled up to attend a recent performance of Shakespeare's 1599 pastoral comedy "As You Like It" with someone dear who was visiting from overseas. Avid readers of the blog will already know how much I adore polka dots, so when I was gifted this gorgeous white & black spotted textured pique "wiggle" dress with cold shoulder detailing from Anthea Crawford, I mixed it with all manner of monochromatic accessories including a wide black patent cinch belt from That Shop in Coolangatta to provide shape at the waistline, matte leather pointy-toed mid heels with laces from Wittner, speckled vinyl shoulder bag with silver hardware from Nine West to carry all the essentials & of course, the jaunty little black straw cloche hat with black & white spotted grosgrain ribbon band for that little something "extra." When it came to jewellery, I chose a chunky silver hinged bangle from Wallace Bishop for some daytime sparkle & matching clear quartz necklace & bracelets (purported to promote harmony, energy, calmness & clarity) from Aussie Gemstones for those bohemian vibes.
