Had the pleasure of spending a Sunday with friends a couple of weeks ago. For the occasion, I tapped into the ever-popular "prairie girl" trend by donning a white broderie cotton midi dress with three-quarter-length fluted sleeves from Asos Design (the perfect weight for spring weather in Queensland), black matte leather pointy-toed heels from Wittner, black textured vinyl handbag with gold hardware & kitschy "kissing swans" picture on the front from "retro girly" Aussie label Review & finally, an oversized gold cocktail ring from Lovisa to complete the look.

I'm really loving monochrome at the moment. This gorgeous ensemble, styled up to attend a recent event in Paddington, is testament to that - a stunning polka dot chiffon empire-line midi dress with handkerchief hemline & black satin trim from Taking Shape, black mesh waterfall cardigan with three-quarter-length sleeves from Yarra Trail, a pair of matte black leather pointy-toed heels with elastic straps from Wittner with matching leather shoulder bag from Pigeonhole to carry all the essentials & finally, a chunky silver art deco inspired hinged bangle from Precious Stones Jewellers to complete the look.

Once again, I'm loving the classic yet unexpected combination of navy & black for an important luncheon event in Brisbane City. I'm wearing a gorgeous navy floral guipure lace shift dress with cold shoulder detailing & long, voluminous chiffon sleeves from Anthea Crawford, shiny black patent ankle boots with chunky heels from Wittner, blue & white toile neoprene crossbody bag with black strap & silver hardware from Parfait ce Cabas, oversized blue & white handpainted heart & circle ceramic cocktail rings from StudioLeanne (purchased to wear to my younger brother's wedding dinner) & finally, a pair of round blue & clear resin sunglasses from a little boutique called Windswept & Interesting on Mt Tamborine.
