Finally sharing all of the gorgeous pictures from a day spent exploring Southbank's Cultural Precinct with my cousin & her two rambunctious munchkins, checking out all of the children's activities at the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA), Queensland Art Gallery & Queensland Museum after taking a ride on the train, much to their delight... Anyway, I'm dressed casually for a day of fun (I know, right?! Who am I?) wearing a funky pair of vintage blue denim overalls from Retro Metro Paddington (sourced from America) with a soft, navy linen tunic with shell buttons & rolled cuffs from my local Target store underneath (word to the wise - go check out your own local store for the spring/summer range as it's particularly good this year), a pair of metallic silver leather brogues from Country Road for the ideal fusion of comfort & style, a silver leather crossbody bag with cream strap detail from Noosa Living via The Works to keep my hands free for child-wrangling & exploration & finally, a chunky maple wood watch from Montville Woods Gallery so I could tell how long it would be until the train was arriving.

Scroll down to see the shenanigans... including my runway model debut...

The Brisbane City train was arriving in two minutes.
Cue happy dance behind the yellow line...

Pre-Gallery pit stop at The Library Cafe for coffee & cake (for the adults, obviously) & a drink of cold water & huge "dotty" cookies for the boys...

Inside the "Weaver's Workshop" at GOMA making jewellery the traditional Pacific Islander way...

Catwalk Craziness: Round One

Can't resist a colourful headpiece...

Catwalk Craziness: Round Two

Exploring the Queensland Art Gallery Courtyard's water feature...

Posing with a mind set on NOT FALLING IN. Seriously.

A quick look around the Queensland Art Gallery...

"What the heck is that?!"
Well kids, it's modern art... apparently one line is ever-so-slightly thicker than the rest...

Lunch at The Museum Cafe, washed down with a vanilla milkshake...

It wouldn't be a trip to Southbank without a look at the dinosaurs... & a chance to measure your height against the femur...

Look Down...

Waiting for a train...
