There's nothing better than commemorating the special moments in life with dear friends... particularly if it's over delicious food in lush, green surroundings. I'm twirling around at Queens Park after celebrating both my birthday & Easter with long-time family friends (including my Goddaughter) over afternoon tea & sweet treats at the Kiosk wearing a stunning jungle-printed chiffon empire-line midi dress with handkerchief hemline & satin tie back detailing from Taking Shape, white leather pointy-toed mules from Country Road with matching white painted cane handbag from Renee Loves Frances' beautiful boutique in Bulimba, a jade bangle & bracelet from Shanghai to pick up on the myriad of green hues inherent in the print of the frock & finally, a silver cuff from Wallace Bishop for some daytime shine.

Scroll down to see more of the outfit, including the way it twirls in the autumn breeze...

A few little snapshots from a morning spent enjoying the ambiance of Rosalie's Blue Room Cinebar with the family, catching the latest screening of "The Aftermath," starring British screen darling Keira Knightley, Alexander Skarsgard & Aussie actor Jason Clarke. I'm posing in front of the impressive entry-way wearing a gorgeous vintage floral printed sateen fit-to-flare dress with portrait neckline from Anthea Crawford, blush pink leather lace-up heels from Wittner with matching blush pink vinyl crossbody bag with silver chain strap from Forever New, circular woven tote bag (ideal for carrying absolutely everything... including the kitchen sink, quite frankly) from Homes by ASF at Rosalie & finally, a silver tribal cuff from Najo via the divine Precious Stones Jewellers.

** Tip: Make sure you order some Thai food from the menu to snack on during your film - it comes from the restaurant next door & is absolutely delicious! Spring rolls, in particular, are highly recommended.**

For the second installment of my birthday celebration pictures, I'm excited to share snippets from the actual day in question, where I pottered about our verdant back garden before blowing out the candles & making a wish on my birthday condensed milk & lemon pie. I'm swanning around in a stunning orchid printed dupione shift dress & matching full-length ball skirt from Aussie label Sacha Drake's new collection, black leather & suede heels from Wittner, funky oversized painted ceramic heart cocktail ring from Studio Leanne (find her on Etsy, you won't regret it) & a divine art nouveau inspired faux floral headpiece from La Plume de Fleur to complete the Queen-of-the-Forest look.
