Finally sharing all of the beautiful pictures from a morning spent exploring Rocks Riverside Park at Seventeen Mile Rocks with family before stopping for a takeaway lunch beside the Brisbane River. Comprising of three zones - the river flat, a former industrial site that is now rich riverside environment complete with market garden; the bushland ridge which acts as a backdrop to the river flat area & is covered with dry eucalyptus forest & finally, the major green link from the park to the suburbs in the South (all the way to the former site of Amazons Adventure Park) - Rocks Riverside has a well-appointed children's playground with waterplay facilities for the summertime, clean public toilets & well-spaced, quiet picnic spots with BBQs if needed. Moreover, the horticulture features industrial artefacts from the site's previous use by the Queensland Cement & Lime Company, which blend into the environment with careful & considerate landscaping & certainly provide a point of difference for bloggers, photographers & aesthetes alike.

I'm posing in amongst the bushland ridge wearing a gorgeous purple & blue hued floral cotton fit-to-flare dress with paneling for shape, sweet little cap sleeves & cutaway v-neckline from Aussie designer Anthea Crawford, a navy & silver metallic knitted cardigan - cropped to nip in at the smallest part of my waist - by "girly" label Review, a pair of comfortable yet stylish blush leather sneakers with white rubber soles from Frankie 4 Footwear & finally, a white vinyl crossbody bag with silver hardware from Forever New to carry all of the essentials while leaving my hands free.

Nothing beats a salad sandwich (this one is an Italian BMT with pickles) & a drink of juice in the fresh air...

Spotted in Sacha

Dress: Sacha Drake stretch bengaline
Cardigan: Leaf mesh
Heels: Wittner leather, elastic

Keeping it simple in a perennial favourite - monochrome polka dots - wearing a gorgeous stretch bengaline mini dress with square neckline (very 1960s inspired) from Aussie designer Sacha Drake, a black mesh three-quarter-sleeved cardigan tie in the middle (aka the smallest part of my waist) with an oversized bow from a now-defunct label called Leaf that I purchased from a funky little boutique in Montville more than ten years ago & a pair of comfortable yet stylish black matte leather pointy-toed heels with elastic straps from Wittner. Perfect for this in-between weather we've been having that seems to herald the coming of the Springtime...
