All dressed up with... well, nowhere to go really, thanks to Covid 19. This gorgeous, burgundy jersey dress with its asymmetrical neckline, cap sleeve, waist pleating & black beaded embellishment from Anthea Crawford will transcend seasons, however & still be statement-making attire when things eventually go back to some kind of normal & Queensland Performing Arts Complex (QPAC) & the like reopen to the public en masse... it's just a matter of playing the waiting game... I've styled up this look with some other special pieces to lift the spirits in the form of a divine pair of clear plastic & black suede pointy-toed mules with stiletto kitten heels from Tony Bianco via David Jones, which elongate my legs to absolutely ridiculous optical-illusion proportions (woo hoo!); a unique, handmade clear plastic & painted paper envelope clutch from Aussie designer Tiff Manuell via Mott & Mulberry, gifted to me for my most recent birthday by some dear friends & finally, a funky Megan Hess (via her darling website) gold & resin bangle featuring some of her award-winning fashion illustrations.
