Wearing so many shades of blue had me humming that Bob Dylan song all day long... & for good reason... I absolutely adore this beautiful midi dress with its v-shaped empire neckline, wide waistband, origami detailing on the tulip skirt & below-the-knee hemline from Montique, made from a sumptuous blue floral printed silk/jacquard that just screams luxury. In an effort to keep it from looking too dressy or prim & proper, I've styled it with edgy accessories - a pair of strappy black leather heels with zippers up the back from Wittner & carried a black vinyl & denim handbag with silver hardware from Nine West. Denim, after all, is one of those magical fabrics that can be turned into any type of garment yet always retains its casual vibe & I'm forever partial to its original state of indigo blue. Jewellery was kept simple & chunky - an androgynous watch from Guess & hinged bangle from Wallace Bishop for a touch of daytime shine.
