Finally sharing all the pictures from a morning spent celebrating all things "Sesame Street" with a live performance & sing-a-long for the young & young-at-heart! For the last 55 years, this stalwart of educational television has captured the hearts & minds of children & adults all around the world with its mix of live action, puppetry (courtesy of Jim Henson & Frank Oz's beloved Muppets), animation, singing, dancing & storytelling & doesn't show any signs of slowing down anytime soon with toys, books & even Lego sets still being produced & released in record quantities. As a long-time fan who fondly remembers the Christmas that Santa bought a Big Bird Talking Tape Player for me - definitely showing my age as a child of the 80s here - as well as five Sesame Streets books for everyone's favourite giant yellow fellow to read full of stories of Bert & Ernie, Grover, Oscar the Grouch & Snuffleupagus to name a few, this was a literal DREAM COME TRUE & so I dressed for the occasion.

I'm wearing a cute rainbow spotted organza puff-sleeve midi dress from Aussie online emporium Little Party Dress with a pair of lipstick red vegan leather round-toe heels with buttons & bows from vintage-inspired label Kitten D'Amour for height, a red upcycled vinyl crossbody bag from Country Road to carry all the essentials including the ever-present facemask & hand sanitizer as well as some tissues for the bittersweet moments that always come with a trip down "memory lane," a chunky silver hinged bangle from Wallace Bishop for a touch of daytime shine & finally, the sweetest Sesame Street satin & plush headband - gifted by some dear friends who were visiting from overseas & came along to join the fun - with Elmo & Cookie Monster heads on each side to complete the look.
