Fairytale dressing has always been right up my alley (okay, okay... except for that time in high school when I was a full Daria Morgendorfer style grunge lover) & one of my all-time favourite labels for fairycore is definitely British label Sister Jane's premium diffusion line, Dream Sister Jane with their whimsical silhouettes, floaty fabrics & muted colour palette. I've styled up this absolutely divine shirred mini dress with puff sleeves & tiered hemline in a beautiful blue hue for an event in my beloved River City by adding a pair of black patent & matte leather heeled loafters with tassels from a label called Pitillos that I picked up from Obsession Shoes at the "top of town" in Ipswich, a vintage brown & black tooled leather handbag with Mexican/American motifs from Shop 76 at Ipswich Antique Centre with a Squishmallow x Stranger Things plush bag charm, a stack of vintage silver bangles from Mexico that some dear friends brought back from a trip a few years ago & a single, heavier vintage silver bangle from 20th Century Antiques & Collectibles (formerly Coolangatta, now Tweed Heads) that my younger brother gave me as a birthday gift to complete the look & add some daytime shine.
