Heralding the coming summer weather with this amazing silk/cotton maxi dress in a 70s silhouette with oversized ruffled frill & saturated orange hue from celebrated Australian label Country Road. I've styled this stunner up for an even in the River City with a pair of black vegan leather dual buckle heels from Kitten D'Amour, a velvet pouch bag covered in tarot-style sun & moon beaded embroidery from my local Sportsgirl store & a plethora of silver & brass studded bangles in varying sizes from Tree of Life that I've pretty much been collecting for the last fifteen years.

Loving bright pops of orange with absolutely EVERYTHING at the moment (in fact, if you take a peek at my Instagram feed today, you'll see what I mean...) & this outfit - from a much cooler, less humid day in South East Quensland - is a prime example: a stunning, navy floral embroidered organza shirt dress with fit-to-flare silhouette, slightly puffed sleeves, tie belt & built-in navy satin slip from Anthea Crawford styled up with this utterly divine, vintage orange silk jacket (gifted by dear friends), a pair of black matte leather heeled ankle boots from Wittner & an indigo denim & black vinyl handbag from Nine West to carry all the essentials. When it came to accessories, I added a brushed silver cuff from Wallace Bishop for that touch of daytime shine, a trio of upcycled button bracelets from funky boutique Blake & Taylor in Paddington & finally, added the all-important paisley printed cotton facemask that my lovely neighbour made at the very beginning of this pandemic.
