While this Saturday was full of fast, frenetic energy at the EKKA, last week it was slow & steady all the way with a trip to Toowoomba to rummage through a succession of antique shops for treasures of bygone eras before a meandering walk through beautiful Queens Park led us to historical Cafe Valetta for a late lunch.

For such a low-key day out, I kept things relatively casual, taking into account the weather forecast of sunny skies with icy breezes: a floral satin fit-to-flare dress from Anthea Crawford in a sumptuous shade of royal blue, blush-pink woven tunic-style jumper by Genson with floral yoke detail & woven blue-tone "waterfall" jacket from Tree of Life for that touch of bohemian elegance.

When it came to footwear, comfort was key so my trusty pair of black leather studded boots from Witchery were the ideal choice, particularly when worn with a pair of matte 40 denier nylon Razzamatazz tights.

Finally, I packed my brown leather & charcoal calico messenger bag from Boheme (available at Green Tangerine) full of the essentials, slipped the cross-body strap over my head & onto my shoulder & the look was complete. Check it out in a bit more detail below... if you can take your eyes off the ABSOLUTELY DIVINE art deco mirror that I used to take the shots...

Kitschy little treasures...
