Colleges Crossing When It Rains

Finally sharing all of the gorgeous pictures from a Saturday morning spent exploring one of our long-time favourites, Colleges Crossing, with my cousin & her two rambunctious munchkins who, much like the vast majority of us, were absolutely delighted to finally be allowed back into the great outdoors (albeit socially-distanced & away from the playground equipment) after such a long & arduous Covid 19 lockdown period. Despite the inclement weather, it was nice to be able to breathe in that fresh riverside air & get the blood pumping with some tree climbing & scooting in the drizzle before a final look at the river (from underneath the relative protection of an umbrella) as the heavier falls began & we headed for the car...

For the occasion, I was bright & happy in a retro-inspired, funky circus-printed cotton midi-length dress from British label Lady Vintage London, a vibrant yellow knitted cardigan from Review that was cropped the waist to give shape while providing warmth, a pair of comfortable yet stylish black leather & suede Mary Jane wedges with chrome buckles from Naot that I found at the delightful Adavera Footwear store in Paddington & lastly, a black nylon & vinyl crossbody bag with silver hardware from Nautica to carry all the essentials while keeping my hands free.

Keep scrolling to see how the rest unfolded...
