Winter might be long over in South East Queensland - although thankfully those cooler mornings & evenings have stayed for the most part - but I'm still swooning over the deeper colour combinations & layering options from the season & in particular, this outfit that was a riot of colour, pattern-mixing & textural interplay. The gorgeous chiffon midi dress with elastic waist, high neckline, handkerchief hem & tie belt is from Anthea Crawford's recent collaboration with the Norman Lindsay estate (famous Australian artist & author of "The Magic Pudding") & the floral print is one of this glorious creations... I've taken these moody tones of brown, tan, cream, gold & blush pink & mixed them with a pair of leopard print faux fur & black leather lace-up heels from Nine West for a modicum of height & topped the entire ensemble with a vintage orange silk long-line jacket that a dear friend gave me early this year.
