Saturday in Surfers Paradise (part 1)

Finally sharing all of the hilarious pictures from a wonderful day spent together (my mother & father, younger brother Louis, cousin Renee & her two rambunctious munchkins as well as yours truly) at Surfers Paradise on Queensland's celebrated Gold Coast, playing a few rounds of mini golf at King Tutt's Putt Putt - the Jurassic Course followed by the Egyptian Course, as dictated by our future/potential paleontologists/archaeologists - before heading down to the beach for a swim, delicious fish & chips from Montmartre by the Sea & an ice cream from a little store in Cavill Avenue to finish before one final swim & a long car ride home...

This first installment (a second is coming tomorrow) is full of pictures from the amazingly kitschy King Tutt's Putt Putt on the Corner of Surfers Paradise Boulevard & Ocean Avenue where the games are lively & surprisingly challenging (both indoor & outdoor courses!) & the customer service is second to none. Honestly, no matter how many times we visit, it's always a wonderful experience in a clean & Covid safe environment. Can't recommend them enough if you are looking to wile away a few hours having some retro fun.

Scroll down to see how it all unfolded, as well as what I wore...

All ready for a day of fun & feeling even tinier than usual next to this colossus wearing a gorgeous monochrome spotted linen midi dress with shirred bodice from Australian fashion stalwart Sussan, retro-inspired & ultra comfortable silver leather Saltwater Sandals, a cream & silver cotton shoulder-bag-turned-crossbody (also from Sussan; their summer offer is impeccable this year) & some of my favourite jewellery pieces - a brushed silver cuff from Wallace Bishop, vintage silver bangle that a dear friend gifted me (all the way from India) & finally, a pair of shell & hemp twine anklets from a groovy little boutique called Sabah Lifestyle in The Strand shopping centre at Coolangatta that I purchased on holidays a few years ago.

Keep scrolling to see pictures of us taking on our second indoor mini golf course...
