Last Tuesday, I had the pleasure of catching up with a dear friend who has just moved back to Brisbane from interstate & was able to once again wear this gorgeous, floral silk dress - complete with shoulder pads! - that I picked up in Paris during a family trip to Europe in 2012. The dress' low-cut back meant that a slip was required & my trusty black elastane option from TS was ideal, providing coverage without taking away from the look.

When it came to accessories, black just seemed too heavy, so I donned this amazing pair of flesh-tone leather lace-up sandals from Novo & carried a boxy little bone vinyl handbag from Sportsgirl full of all the essentials. Boho jewellery added a taste of Spring to the ensemble - a trio of sparkly beaded bangle that a friend sent from India jangling on one arm & a bamboo & suede watch from the Strand Markets at Coolangatta on the other.
