Finally posting pictures of a recent afternoon tea with my Goddaughter Tobin at one of the most celebrated cafes in the region, Fourth Child, where the selection of scrumptious cakes & slices (not to mention the savory fare) is TO DIE FOR... particularly when washed down with an equally decadent Iced Coffee or Chocolate...

For such an occasion, my newest acquisition from Anthea Crawford was ideal - the A line shape casual enough to suit the late-afternoon-in-my-hometown setting while the vibrant cobalt blue colour & sweet corded lace fabrication added flair. Rather than the somewhat "expected" black accessories, I donned a pair of speckled monochrome leather sandals with "boot-style" lace-up & ankle padding details from Novo & a pattern-mixed "hatching" patterned shoulder bag from Nine West that my parents gifted me as an early birthday present.

Jewellery pieces were funky & whimsical - a brushed silver Wallace Bishop cuff with the words "All You Need Is Love" inscribed on the inside, vintage silver fork fashioned into a cuff that I picked up at the popular Gone Dotti store at the Southbank Markets & a chunky silver bracelet with navy & white "Girl with a Ponytail" Cameo from Karen Walker Jewellery... also a birthday present from some dear friends.

Now that the fashion's out of the way, scroll down to see how the visit unfolded...
