Celebrated the most important woman in our lives with dinner at one of our all-time favourite haunts, Creole Soul Kitchen at Spring Hill, home of the BEST pork belly I have ever tasted, hands down! For such a special occasion, I donned a gorgeous rose-printed, textured jacquard shift dress with three-quarter-sleeves and fluted cuffs from Jayson Brunsdon Black Label at Myer, shiny black patent ankle boots from Wittner to continue the 1960s vibe & pattern-mixed floral vinyl clutch with gold hardware from Forever New, gifted to me by a dear friend for my birthday this year. The length of sleeve meant that statement jewellery was required - a gold watch with large round face from Jag on my left forearm & a stack of bohemian gold & onyx bracelets from Alex & Ani (a Christmas present from my parents) on my right.

Joanne was looking super stylish too in a monochrome silk shift from Anthea Crawford, oriental-inspired devore three-quarter-sleeved jacket with fringed hem & toggle closure from Taking Shape, black leather brogues from Beltrami via Style Tread (one of the many gifts wrapped up at the beginning of this post), 40 denier nylon tights from Razzamatazz, burgundy vinyl handbag with silver hardware from Nine West for a pop of subtle colour & a vintage silver brooch.
