Following on from yesterday, I'm sharing more snippets from our family Easter celebrations for 2022 & much like yesterday, the first outfit that I'm showcasing is this gorgeous ensemble that I wore on Easter Saturday which truly brought the cottagecore vibes & made me feel like a little woodland creature from one of my childhood favourites, David the Gnome (1985-1987), which chronicled the life of gnome veterinarian & his wife Lisa, who travelled around the Dutch woodlands helping animals in his own unique & calming way, fighting against the evil tyranny of the wicked trolls & espousing all manner of life-affirming beliefs about saving the environment, helping endangered animals, being kind to one another & loving each other... but not in a preachy way, if you know what I mean... If you've never seen it, I would highly recommend that you check it out on YouTube as it's in my top 3 children's television shows after The Sooty Show & Lift Off...

Anyway, if you're here for the fashion details, the sweet pink & white floral cotton cropped top with tie straps & midi skirt with ruched waistline (full-on, beachy 1970s vibes on any other long weekend) are both from Aussie label Seed Heritage, the boho-luxe blue, pink & gold vinyl sandals are made by Candy Lane & available at Temptations Boutique in Winston Glades, the whimsical mushroom-shaped woven straw bag is from Olli Ella via online fashion emporium The Iconic & the white faux fur bunny ear headpiece/hat with velcro chin strap is from Shein.

Loving that "long weekend" style with this delightful look for Easter Monday festivities - a striking red & white large-scale gingham check midi dress with oversized tie straps from British label Sister Jane via "web department store" Asos, a pair of chunky white leather wedge sandals from German brand Hermann via online shoe store Styletread, a wide silver hinged bangle from Wallace Bishop for that touch of daytime shine, a vintage red bakelite bracelet (gifted by dear friends) for a pop of red to match the dress & finally, a silver & white faux pearl bunny ears headband/headpiece from Lovisa because hey, Eastertime only comes around once a year so might as well make the most of it...
