Feeling joyful in the ever-so-slightly warmer weather as I head out to an anthropology lecture in my beloved River City wearing this stunning ensemble. The main feature here is, of course, the beautiful blue & white baroque floral print midi dress in a light cotton voile with its voluminous sleeves, embroidered yoke, drawstring waist & tiered hemline (replete with white cotton voile lining) from Aussie designer label Shona Joy, styled up with a 1980s style indigo denim "bubble" cropped jacket from Bianca Spender, black matte leather heeled ankle boots from Wittner for a modicum of height with all the volume of the other items, a pair of black 40 denier nylon tights from Razzamatazz to keep my legs feeling toasty warm & a black vinyl shoulder bag from Sussan to carry all the essentials. When it came to jewellery, I chose some of my favourites - a thin, vintage silver bangle that my brother gave me from (sadly now defunct) 20th Century Antiques & Collectibles at Coolangatta & a stack of vintage Mexican silver bangles that were gifted to me by some dear friends.
