If you read this blog diligently, you'll probably already know how much I love vintage/retro inspired dresses & this secondhand beauty from Bettie Page via the amazing Retro World Collective store in Brisbane's Uptown (the old Myer Centre) is no exception! The sweet sailor details mixed with the pin-up style wiggle silhouette is absolute dynamite & was the perfect thing to wear to a VIP burlesque show in the River City. I've styled it up for a matinee with a pair of stone leather lace-up heels from Jo Mercer, a navy, white & stone woven & vinyl handbag with natural beaded handle from my local TK Maxx store to carry all the essentials including my face mask & hand sanitizer, a chunky silver art deco style hinged bangle from the delightful ladies at Precious Stones Jewellers & finally, a thinner silver hinged bangle from Oxfam Shop that I wore many years ago to my formal & ever since.
