Day at the Museum

Finally posting all of the pictures from our recent day at the Queensland Museum with a certain duo of small boys, one of whom was particularly excited about seeing the dinosaur skeletons... spurred on by a few episodes of his (current) favourite television show, Andy's Prehistoric Adventures. As Andy is wont to exclaim, "Hat... Check! Backpack... Check! Ready for adventure!"

Scroll down to see how it all unfolded, paying particular attention to the small plastic Tyrannosaurus Rex that tagged along on this adventure in someone's sweaty little palm...

Deep in the realm of the Cassowary...

Posing up a storm in a floral cotton fit-to-flare dress from Anthea Crawford with horsehair in the hemline for a bit of body; red rubber flat thongs with blush bow on the t-bar strap by a brand called Mei, discovered at a little boutique called LaOnda at Sunnybank Plaza; pearlised gold vinyl handbag from Forever New & eclectic bohemian accessories - two black lava beaded bracelets with gold assorted charms from Gone Dotti at the Southbank Markets, neutral wooden beaded bracelets with silver charms from Emmala by Emma, purchased at the Coolangatta Markets a few Septembers ago & finally, a bronze cuff with rainbow coloured pom-poms from The Robe boutique at The Barracks on Petrie Terrace.
